thanks holly, Agree on the bridge thing. He's in LA right now and he loathes commuting. He took an apartment in an area which I felt was a bit unsafe (just to be close to work, 5 minute drive). I'm not sure he could afford to live in the immediate vicinity of the potential job in this case. He a digital fx artist so telecommuting is not an option at this time. Proprietary software and unix machines at work.
