Yes, higher rates will lead to higher dollar, the carry trade, it was happening. The money flow is by no means a real flow, it is all derivatives. The corporate defaults, if any, will quickly destabilize the derivatives pyramid just like 2000 or 2008 as CDO cascade through derivatives markets leading to domino effect of defaults (a bankrupt counterparty bankrupts all its counterparties until the derivatives market freezes. Interest rates derivatives is a quadrillion market, Fed funds is a variable affecting prices of every derivative including stocks.
That’s why markets are either risk on or risk off. Has been risk off lately. Risk off will fuck up all conventional correlations and lead to 2008 with a currency crisis twist, as the worlds biggest debtor nation goes bankrupt.
At that point USD falls rapidly. A Fitch AAA, a made in U.S.A fake, won’t matter, as robbed Russia reintroduces gold standard and the coalition of the robbed nations joins in to demand immediate payment in goods and services USA now lacks. How do you think Russia feels about its CB usd reserves being sent to fund Ukrainian nazis? Never again I bet. Many others are watching this blatant violation of private property by the world king of capitalism. It’s dead now, jmho. The US just fucked itself. You will see the result soon if double digit inflation didn’t show it.

Russia's time was long ago, probably ashamed that poor, post- Mao desperate China, decided to go the "Japan, S.Korea & Taiwan" route, like WTF happened.
Russia did not have the benefit of Zhou Enlai & Deng Xiaoping.

in the least, Russia has inadvertently consolidated/ probably will enlarge Nato. Biden is doing what he should be doing.. he has the leadership & the political balls whereas Trump was inept & stupid everything America exterior.

it shakes out that Nato will be European stronger than ever... the U.S. probably focusing on E.Asia, China shit.
the name of the game is China. Putin's long gaming table is better suited for the U.S. & China.
