I know a guy who painted the exterior brick gun metal gray on a house he flipped. I know another guy who did the same thing with aluminum siding.

Dude's seriously needed some styling input, but it didn't make any difference on the selling prices of their rehabbed houses.

Depends on the brick, some is ugly or impossible to color match for repairs
also depend on house style and siding/porch accents to break it up

I grew up in a couple of brick houses and loved them

but I think that's cuz i loved my gramma ;
My favorite was a Dutch colonial with grey horizontal siding on top of a hill with a view of the manhatten skyline from my bedroom window
moved a lot as a kid
location location location
was lucky to get out of desert remodel with contents slightly over remodel expense two weeks ago
still blinking
