I heard the other lying POS on TV this AM tell David Faber he got out of Crypto "even" today... the POS who was telling the audience about getting 8% a year to own it and talk about it on TV and even recommend CNBC listeners put some of their assets in it. He said it was like owning a Treasury (2 year?) over that time... (since treasuries paid next to nothing) My guess is his getting even counts the money he was paid as "interest."

I remember he did the same thing with Gold. When it was topping he said you could put 20% in it... then when it crashed, he said 5% was OK. That is why he doesn't publish a track record for his "club portfolio."

I wonder how much of the huge real estate gains here are partly from the Chinese and Crypto bubble investors cashing out and buying SF to SJ real estate with the cash much as the internet bubble heads did with their cash after cashing in options and stock before they lost all gains in 2001.

This sucks even though I've been right to have my largest position in CASH. I think my iBond portfolio might be #2 (in my personal account) now as my tech stocks that were in the top 2 to 10 have taken massive hits while the iBonds are doing great.

Well, it is officially a bear market on a closing basis for all three of the major indexes. The Dow is still in correction mode, but few used it for actual TA any more since it lacks diversification.

Down 21.83% for the SPX isn't even close any more.... the permabulls will have to admit they were wrong or just keep calling bottoms and rely on morons forgetting they do that all the way down.

Don't get me wrong, I did some buying today and have been nibbling for awhile after taking a ton of profits when much higher. What is encouraging is my buying less the selling this year was positive until today and even then, is only down 3.8% on the total basket. Of course the overall portfolio is down 14.6% YTD, but that crushes the performance of all the indexes, including the Dow!
