The movie "War Games" is an interesting historically relevant tale of a kid who breaks into early 1980's computers and manages to almost start nuclear war via wargaming with an AI program. As the "game" is played out - the US DoD goes on high alert as simulated attacks are played out and the AI system takes people out of the Command and Control Loop. It holds up reasonably well. Even as a kid I was well aware that I could be turned into radioactive hamburger at any moment. Bullshit. Blow them off the face of the earth. They launch one nuke and nukes fly down on them within seconds from NATO, the US and the world. What's left of their economy will be destroyed within seconds. And vice versa.
