This is another 1st for joe just like draining our SOR to help with an election.
Any idea how often past presidents in their first two years in office with control of both the House and Senate go on to lose control of BOTH in the first midterm?

Good Morning Kirk,

That's why it is simply "an election gimmick". The most expensive yet!

This guy is a clown with no scruples.

He shows his incompetency to support all Americans on a daily basis!

Bob

Are all those people signing up to get a free $10K from the government to forgive them for not being smart enough to get a college degree that led to a job good enough to pay back their loans end up with nothing if the GOP takes the House and Senate? To me, it seems the ultimate "taxation without representation" in that we'll have to take on $400B+ in new debt used to buy votes.

You must stop complaining and beating this dead horse on college loans... just kidding of course! You have a way with words and this drumbeat cannot be loud enough because it is perfectly emblematic of big government, elected government, incentives. This topic is so egregious, so obvious to anyone clear headed enough to acknowledge it. When Big Brother bails out the economy at least they hide under the cover of asserting we didn’t want the economy to collapse-- recall Buffett suddenly very willing to give public interviews during GFC saying the govt needs to save the patient first, at all costs. He meant their costs not his lol.

Moral hazard private incentives usually hide enough from the populace- dressed in many code words - that J6P does not get wise. Then for the whoppers- GFC, Covid , et al - the floodgates really open but Gov't points to idea well we had to save the world, but of course we don’t know what would have occurred without trillions in bailouts. With school loan givebacks, there is no there there.
