John - IMO I don't think the CA offer to buy CSC is a done deal. CSC is full of entrepeneurs who aren't about to be run by an old mainframe oriented SW house.

John,
Do you own EDS stock? EDS is a poorly run and managed company whose employees are frustrated and whose competitiveness is questionable. They don't make money and EDS has absolutely nothing to do with the internet or communications.
A company using EDS services would not want to be obligated to combine their telecommunications and the computer hardware service and support. It would be like combining the cafeteria service at a company with the janitorial services. What's the point?

Sell your EDS stock.
