Feb. 12: Earnings Plays-Chaikin Oscillator-Money Flow and the Integration of Technical and Fundamental Analysis... Tomorrow's watch list will be picks that have been determined by the high percentage Chaikin Oscilltor/Money flow. Money flowing into a company before an earning report gives you a pretty good indication of where the buyers think the stock is going in the near future. I always use some extra indicators to confirm the trend.. In this case I also used 10 day moving average breakout, 1/30 day volume versus 30 day average, and a couple of other fundamental indicators including insider trading rank. RESULTS: XEIKY - XEIKON N V A D R SPONS .GPR XEIKY enjoys a very high Chaikin Money flow and Oscillator ranking. Money is flowing into this company. It has an insider rank of 85%, moving average breakout rank of 98% and a fundamental rank of 98%, EPS % CHG LAST QTR in the 81%..this could be a very interesting play before it's earnings come out on Friday.. CMOS - CREDENCE SYSTEMS CORP COM .EEE This is another stock with money flowing into it has an InsRk in the 98th percentile and the Chaikin oscillator in the 98th percentile.. It is exactly like XEIKY in that it also is in the 91st percentile for 10 day moving average breakout ATLI - A T L ULTRASOUND INC COM has very high volume increase, money flowing here as well. This is a little extended because it is in the middle of a major uptrend but the earnings are projected to be 57% more than last year 4th quarter. This could be a nice intraday play in the next couple of days. TMAR - TRICO MARINE SERVICES INC COM .OWD Trico enjoys an extremely high ROE, Insider Rank, and Chaikin Oscillator, It's in the 94th percentile for earnings growth last quarter, and revenue growth.. The only problem with this one is the sector in general. This is the only sector where a strong report doesn't necessarily follow with a subsequent "pop".. If the oils are good tomorrow watch TMAR.. same thing on Friday. PHG - PHILIPS ELTR N V HLDG CO COM .EIL high money flow percentile, Insider trading and 1/30 volume in the 93rd percentile rates this one a very big plus for tomorrow. SMTK - SMARTALK TELESERVICES INC COM .TES High EPS growth and nice money flow for this one.. Has to be watched. SFDS - SMITHFIELD FOODS INC VA COM .FMP this one I've played 3 times before and it still looks to have nice growth. Volume has been pretty light for this one.. the technicals are average but the fundamentals on this one are high.. ******************************************************************* Some alternates that came out nice results: MSTR, VRC, and BUS... ******************************************************************* At this time I'm still in NAV,WAXS,KEA,MLNM VFC popped nicely today. I still have high hopes for WAXS and SCIXF

LastShadow, I agree that IFMX doesn't look good technically. However, they reported earnings after the close of +$.05 compared with earlier earnings of -$.05. Trading was up to 8 5/16 after closing. I wouldn't buy immediately...just watch. Tom

It seems to me that CompUSA, CPU has been holding back thru this tech rally. Could it be ready to make a move? The fundamentals are in order. I feel it's somewhat undervalued. Calvin

LastShadow, Check the news on PGO, look like it may be on the back. I know you have mentioned this before but I can't fine it, where do you set your stops when you buy. I had one yesterday that sold and rebounded quickly. I set my stop at 2%, maybe to tight. Thanks as always for the help! Alice
