I love dividends but I like to buy before they start to pay dividends. My Lam dividends are more than TWICE what I paid per share. I sold about 2/3rds of my original shares to diversify, pay mortgage, raise cash to fund ROTH, etc... In fact, I recall taking some Lam profits to buy Agilent at $75 after it fell by about 50%... that 50% is one of my target prices to buy stocks that soar... but with the internet bubble, that was way, way too early, but today looks great.

I need to spend more time converting shares of stocks to cash then SPEND the cash rather than talk about it here or make more... but it is so fun to have success... addicting almost.
