Long term I'm with you........Lee I feel I've mastered the short side of this market; I have a good feel for it, risking tops 30% at key times this year I've made 38% on the short side, which includes many had my ass handed to me mistakes. Last short was 11/09/22 went long into the close for a two-day rush up. I took a short when cheif showed up, always steps on his dick trade; then the Poles had a missile hit but kept my longs. Little things have a way of adding up. So do I think the bottom is in.....I don't know, I do know it's getting harder to day trade....in and out 20 min still works but it takes 100% of my attention and turns my brain to mush. I need a break HO HO HO give me a Santa rally and I'll take the rest of the year off.

We had something weird happen today. A current software vendor is up for renewal. I think they may be a unicorn who has yet to go public.

Anyway, they were really reluctant to drop their price, which was 45% more than it was 3-years ago when it we signed the last license.

They dropped it about 5%. We were unimpressed, and then they offered us 3-months free! I think we're going to get 6-months free plus 1-year delayed payment on 60% of the license. It will end up about a 4% annual increase over 6-years (3-since the last license, and 3-more years).

I think they are trying to protect their reported margins through some non-GAAP accounting via the free months of the license.
