Not all of us are too set in our ways. You definitely will have to dumb it down. Really explain how those indicators work by showing why they are superior. Make sure we know what time frame you are trading in?

Are you trading stocks, ETF's, options etc. You will have to provide a lot of information that you take for granted others should already know. Trust me most people don't know.

It's a lot of work to do that. And ultimately the audience is small. So if you reach just one person is it worth it to you?

Not saying it will be just one but still. I have always found whatever I am teaching I get something out of the process that is just as helpful to me.

I was backtracking on this thread and just thought I would say that I was not subscribed to your thread but I'm always interested in new indicators. I program them if I can and back test them. If its better than what I'm using now I'll look to switching. No dogmatic approach for me. If I can make more money I'm in. I'll have to backtrack on your thread and see if anything jumps out at me.

Perhaps a third option.
But the feedback I got (or lack thereof) makes me think that most people are too set in their ways to be interested in new indicators.
Perhaps some are wealthy enough using what already works that it would take a great convincing job to get us to spend the time to learn something newer that can make even more money.

Just look at Bob, he's so successful that he can't seem to buy enough old cars to rebuild fast enough to burn through his money... and that hobby is as bad as sailing (a hole in the water you throw money into) or windsurfing (a hole in the water you throw money into while the shower is running and you slam your body against the walls.)

And I use "wealth" as a subjective term. I'm a pauper compared to most of my neighbors... but they've had to go to the office every day the last 24 years while I got to get better at my jibe while trying loads of ways to make "just enough" to get by and still be their neighbor. But compared to the folks begging on the streets for money rather than getting jobs with "help wanted" signs on the doors of businesses on the same block, I am more than wealthy, but grateful to have put in the work to not end up where they are now.

Thanks for your contributions here and on your board.
