I have an opinion on the Asian economy. The recent debacle of the currencies and stock markets were not a collapse of the region economy, rather it is a regional adjustment within itself. The reason is China, China and China. With China's economy and activity accelratang, the rest of the region has to make major adjustments to their own economies to accomadate the giant leap in Chines outputs and productivity. As most of the Pacific rim economies have been growing with the kind of industrial activities the Chinese is and will be taking over in greater proportion, the region suffer a painful adjustment to make room for the Chines (whether they like it or not). The net effect to US may be negligible.

Does that ring logically to you?

Iqbal - what are your opinions on INTU,TLAB,MOT & TXN ? I feel i missed out on the recent run-ups in much of the tech sector - only did a CPQ play by exercising some old TDM options. I am looking for some fresh ideas.
