Dr Ed Yardeni, one of the better economists who also uses valuation for his predictions... has SPX at $4,600 to $4,800 at year end.

If I were to review past decades of returns, a 15 to 20% gain after a 20% down year is not atypical.

I don't expect the 7000 path to be sustained this year. I expect at least 5000, we shall see.

That 4000 is going to be taken out this week. We just confirmed a new Weekly Bull Cycle yesterday with a projected high of 4066.34, the high is due 1/20/23. The Weekly is in a good position to get the overdue Weekly Extended Bull Cycle confirmed on 3/10/23 with a projected high of 4582.25, the high will be due 5/26/23.

Hi Kirk,

Biden ,in his address this morning said that the bill passed last year now has rebates for geo thermal pumps and solar panels on the roof.

This spring, I'll be adding two rooms and completely gutting the lower floor of our Wisconsin home.

It was built in 1967 and dug into the side of a hill. The two rooms we'll add will expand the kitchen with a large walk-in pantry and a great room on top of the hill with all large windows that are thermally efficient. They have nano-particles that block the sun during the high orbit of the sun (in summer) and allow sunshine through the glass during the sun's lower orbit of winter. The outside of the window frame is separated from the inside of the frame with a polymer that does not transfer heat or cold. The two panels of glass are vacuum sealed and then filled with a inert gas that also does not transfer temperature.

I used those type of windows at my remodeled school and they were wonderful - dropped my heating bill by 35%. The new boiler dropped it another 10%.

Most importantly it will give us sunshine in the winter when it is sunny out.

I'm going to be a destruction crew this spring and lighten up on the gardening scene a bit.

My bet is we break out over 4000 imminently.

Poker has been correct to focus on 4000 area. I think there is so much money sloshing around that earnings will prevail.

Some corporations will have pricing power and maintain or surprise with equal or greater margins. Others not so much.

The fly in the ointment I fear, is the run up iwill be short in duration.

In the past when interest rate tightening has not resulted in creating a recession, it took an energy spike that did cause a recession.

With oil inventories so tight, a global synchronized growth scenario will result in an energy spike of large proportions (doubling to tripling the price of oil)!

THAT WILL bring down the markets.

Just my gut feeling on things.

Bob
