Hi, Duncan!!! Thank you for that brief synopsis of Sunday morning news. It was much appreciated, because although I really did try to watch all of those programs, I am coming down with a nasty cold that my daughter must have given me for Valentine's day, and I sort of dozed off during the ABC roundtable briefly. This all leads me to a couple of questions. I heard some, um, brief reference to the kind of underwear the president wears, but missed the details. Is this a new mini-scandal? And was Monica's wait in the study during the Zedillo meeting during the evening? Dear George Stephanopoulos thought it unlikely to be true if it was during the day. On a more serious note, during the time I was awake I was alarmed at his suggestion that Cabinet members may be hitting the president up for special favors in their departments in return for continued loyalty. That cannot be good!!! I also noticed several references in the different shows to a very distracted White House deep in crisis, which does not bode well for the business of government. All in all, a disturbing Sunday morning. While it was very refreshing NOT to see Mr. Ginsburg again, I am a bit alarmed about the mass confusion regarding Iraq and our goals there. It seems Congressional support is diminishing. I also got the idea that this is going to be a pretty big week in terms of revelations about the scandal. I am really curious as to when it might start affecting the president's standing in the polls. What do you think? Christine
