Flickerful,

No, no, no! No shrinkwrap! The price stickers are on the cardboard jacket itself, in such manner as to preclude sliding a sticker under shrinkwrap or Cellophane and resealing the wrapping. It had to be something else. Think! THINK! We really need to know this!

To the whippersnappers: The paper sleeves opened at the tops and the sleeves tended to cling to the records. The cardboard album jackets opened at the sides and were stiff and did not cling to the records, especially if the record was in a paper sleeve inside the cardboard album jacket. That is why we think something had to be done with the cardboard album jackets to keep the record from falling out, but not with the records in simple paper sleeves.
