Here in the SF Bay Area, the three sports complexes make a big deal out of their high-end dining experience at the various restaurants.
I don't think that team owners care about the stadium prices.

I think it is part of the "modern stadium" package to have reduced parking so less tailgating where fans take public transportation to the games and eat at the onsite restaurants before and after the games.

For example Food & Beverage | Chase Center

The business model is to pay superstars to perform (49ers at Levi's Stadium yesterday and Beonce and Taylor Swift a few months ago) then sell them food and merchandise at a very high price.

How much is a hot dog at Levi's Stadium?

A hot dog costs $8 and a 16 oz beer goes for $12, the study states. The 49ers are reportedly the second most expensive team at $241.71 per fan, including an average ticket price of $139.71, $85 for parking, $11.50 for beer and $5.50 for a hot dog at Levi's Stadium.Oct 31, 2022
