Come on Brian. With this "good news", LGND will most likely open up 2 or 3 points higher tomorrow! Hell, this is better news than the LLY deal! :-)

>> The idea that this is a "sign" and that Lygand expects him to be "VERY busy in the
upcoming months" are just thoughts spinning in your head.

Are you really an objective commentator, or are you looking so hard for good news
that any item can somehow turn into a fantasy about Lygand's future?<<

AMEN!

> Are you really an objective commentator

Is that a rhetorical question?

Brian, I give details soon, but I suggest that you re-read the press releases. Just a few clues. Although this is somewhat of an electronic bulletin board, and the press release was posted here, LGND doesn't issue press release just to put up a notice. Press releases have a purpose. The timing of these two stories was not a coincidence.

LGND is preparing to enter a new phase, with products to manufacture and sell. It doesn't take a whole lot of analysis to understand the significance of the releases. They were fairly straight forward, and my comments were brief.

I'll post a bit more later for those who just don't get it. As far as the juvenile posts are concerned, they pretty much speak for themselves (and to each other).

Brian, >> ...fantasy about Lygand's {sic} future ?<< Thank you for your psychological insights. While we don't know much about your knowledge or capability in this area, from your posts we know quite a bit about your almost complete lack of knowledge about Ligand, its' compounds, the diseases it is targeting, or for that matter, how to even spell its' name. We also have learned about you from your posts , having asked for an explanation of things you could have easily enough dug up on your own. Anyone, with a minimal reading comprehension level and a minimal effort toward reading prior posts ,before revealing his abject ignorance of the topic he's investigating, could have found the information on his own.
That wasn't good enough for you. After getting the information from Henry Niman, you then had to attack him. You had to bite the hand that fed you that information. It will be interesting to see what else you will reveal to us on this thread. Good luck to you. Bernie.
