Your parsing was false. Words mean what the user of the words intended them to mean. Just think about that for a minute. The point of using words is to communicate, which implies that there is a standard definition. Words evolve and some have multiple meanings, even contradictory meanings, in which case one could reasonably say he meant meaning 1 while the listener thought it was meaning 3. But "cake" doesn't ever mean "grass." I actually looked up "let" and "grab" before I posted to be sure I was on solid ground. Grab, per Webster's: to take or seize by or as if by a sudden motion or grasp BTW, only one of poco's apostrophes was incorrect. Tormenting a nuclear armed bear is a very bad mistake. Can't argue with that, in general. But I think that the actions have been measured. And irritating or frustrating more than torturing. In any event, what's the alternative? Appeasement. Yuck. "nuke thing" won't suddenly arrive somewhere near you. If it does, I hope it's really close.
