Rod you force me to reprimand you... links concerning internet bottlenecks... Regular modems will continue to provide the mainstream access solution for some time to come... OK, so 28.8K modems are all you really need because of existing bandwidth constraints. So really, they are just taking a practical approach and giving customers what they really need. It's not the case that they are years behind as I sort of implied. I buy that, actually makes a lot of sense the way you put it. I think this also means extra profits for RACE because they are practically giving away those old chipsets. This is starting to make sense now but I'm still having a problem with 1) Proprietary hardware and software on both ends. 2) No new functionality over existing modems. 3) Heavy competition. Now, I am conceding that their 28.8 K modems are all you really need so I'm dropping the concern about the product being historical in nature in deference to the explanation you provided. I will buy that argument.

Message 3107347 I've never seen him even mildy upset, and, trust me - I hope I never do anything to upset him. Well, I would never be comfortable as a sniveling coward. This is not a haven for those whose heads are as fat as their wallets and let's hope it never turns into that. Ignacio, disagreement is one thing but when you get someone threatening people and the robot joining in, you know there isn't anything underlying this stock but a couple of geriatric-thug-wannabees. If that isn't the last straw for this stock and Marshall's shriveling credibility then I don't know what is.
