"I find that payphone idea very interesting. It is the most logical extension to WLLs and of course the future G*."

Hi Ramsey,
The pay phone is not only a logical extension of WLL, it may end up being the primary application in a lot of places. Often in places where phone service is relatively expensive for whatever reason, many people will not have their own phone in their home, but pay phones are ubiquitous and get lots of use. This is how things were in Britain up till the mid-80's, for example.

Ramsey,

I believe your phone which is the first generation of QCP phone will not work even if all network operators have roaming agreement with each other. You have to have at least a dual mode phone to work under this type of roaming agreement. Do not quote me. Just make sense! I guess. Well. I do not even know what IS-41 is. I may be dead wrong. A second thought, you may be able to roam between pcs operators such as Sprint PCS, Primeco, and Canadian PCS providers.

As to open a franchise with QCOM, I am more than interested.
