What Trump wants, as stated time, and time again by him, is an end to the war. And many of us are in that boat with him.

Indeed. This is known. No new news here. No need to keep repeating it.

Did you read what I wrote, that I am not interested in conversing with you about that transaction or any other transaction, that I am focused on the broader matter of the new paradigm that Trump has brought us, what it consists of and what it means for us? One element of that new paradigm is Trump being transactional, which was the subject of the post to which you responded.

You only address, transactions, Ukraine peace talks being prominent. You questioned me once about there being a new paradigm. Do you still not get that there is one? Or do you just not want to talk about it? Or do you not really understand it despite being party to it so you are unable to discuss it?

If you don't want to talk about it, that's your choice. We all have our preferred topics. But please have the courtesy of saying so rather than going on about the Ukraine transaction.

Yeah, I know, courtesy was another something lost in the switch to the new paradigm.

If Putin feels entitled to have Ukraine back, that's between him and Zelensky. But leave the USA out of it. That was Biden policy, not Trump policy.
Exactly.

Given that Ukraine cannot stand against huge empire without US support it means give Ukraine to Putin.

Putin gets Ukraine and whatever he wants in Europe.
Trump gets Greenland, Panama, Canada, Mexico and whatever he wants.
China gets Taiwan and whatever they want.

What a wonderful world!
World before 1945 where huge empires can invade any country they want to invade.
No NATO, world rules or laws.

Welcome to Brave New World!
Trump's world

I don't think that is a decision Trump has a right to make!!

I think the Ukrainian people have that right, and only them, to decide how much they want to sacrifice for their freedom!

And if Europe wants to step up, as they seem ready to do, then the Ukrainians may want to fight until they push Putin out.

They may think that is better than being Putins slaves to torture, like he always does!

So where does Trump, or you, get off deciding Ukraines fate!!?

Besides, so far Trump seems to be doing a lot more for Putin then Zelensky!

>> Trump just wants a win.

What Trump wants, as stated time, and time again by him, is an end to the war. And many of us are in that boat with him.

Those who want the war to continue need to think deeply about why they want that because it is pretty hard for me to understand -- unless you envisage a world without Putin which, while nice, is just not a likely outcome unless the man just drops dead.

If Putin feels entitled to have Ukraine back, that's between him and Zelensky. But leave the USA out of it. That was Biden policy, not Trump policy.
