I thought of that. This way the preferred stock certainly isn't callable or probably not even able to be recalled or converted at the company's option. I imagine that some pressure was put on these bond holders since 12% is nice if you think it will be paid and the principal is safe. It is tricky to figure out how to assess this move other than the obvious point that it helps to preserve a NASDAQ listing. Will the preferred stock and warrants be registered and traded? If so, it will be interesting to see what value the market places on the warrants.
