Hi Kirk,

It reminds me of the swings we saw in 1999 and 2000.

One needs to be fearless when buying thr dip.

Scaling out early will be the trick.

That will be appropriate when the Chairman of the Fed calls the price action exuberant.

Deja Vu all over again.

A fun and dangerous time where adrenalin rushes become the fuel de jour.

Bob

Oh, and this is after beating FY25-Q4 EPS with $1.00 vs $0.92 expected.

I would say this is after more than doubling since the April lows.

Hmmm, on the other hand, it was only up about 10% compared to it's late March price before it's April lows.

What's so exciting about COHR? Photonics (whatever that is - light transmitting data? What is this stuff??) are going to be deployed at the core of AI data centers for the next 10-20 years?

I look at them and see a 35% gross margin. Do they buy some super valuable component to make their photonics stuff? With a 35% gross margin it seems to me some other company is selling them the valuable stuff, and they package it together. Why they don't get 75% gross margin??
