“Tariffs are a F'ing stupid way to "fix the problem" and will fail unless we go to the root cause.” Perhaps, so what do you suggest Trump should have done that would have more impact and immediate effect, within his purview? What is the Root cause that Trump could work on? There are a lot of global wrongs that have been allowed to amass against the US. Tariffs seem to be a very effective tool for such, as almost the entire world seems willing to respond favorably (even if begrudgingly). SCOTUS will have the pleasure of allowing or annulling such. 7
