premier, you know what i am worrying about? i worry about its bankruptcy. they lost in the last two months almost 250 millions. how long do you think 350m can last? since kkr bowed out, there is no guarantee they can get another 350m with competitive rates. if they raise premium dramatically, members can switch to other hmos. have you heard any new ratings from analists?

thank you.

william

<< Thomas:

Added 1000 @17 7/16, have another open order for 1000@17 5/16. These are short term trades. Oxford is not likely to return to profitability soon but its survival is certain. IMHO, the price will fluctuate in a narrow range with long term upward bias from here.

Good luck to you.

Why is its survival certain??? They've just about pissed everybody
off. There are dozens of plans out there. The health care providers
are joining forces. Health care providers are refusing patients with
Oxford. Patients and companies will start dropping Oxford for
alternatives. Very simple.

Why would anyone stick with an untrusting insurance company.

I would love to buy into this stock right now. If things do turn
around for the company it's at a great price. But I'm scared.
It's not like Chrysler where the government will step in.
Who cares about Oxford. There's too many HMOs out there anyway.

Please give me a good reason to buy. I want to buy but there are
too many negatives. Even if this does turn around I think you
will see it drop to around 8 before it recovers.
