Thanks for that amusing "news" story.

It looks increasingly like Ginsburg is a real head case. Just when you thought it was impossible, he made himself look even more ridiculous. But then again, he's playing to the gallery.

Monica hasn't the slightest chance of a successful entrapment defense.

On Fox News Sunday, Stuart Taylor of the National Journal, when asked about Ginsburg's assertion that Starr has no case without Monica's testimony, said No, not true.

He then went on to say:

Mr. Ginsburg came into this case about a month ago. At that time Monica Lewinsky was in no danger whatsoever of ever going to prison. Now she is in a situation where she may very well go to prison.

One reason is that the prosecutors don't think they need her, though they may like to have her testimony to prove their case.

Another reason is that on Mr. Ginsburg's watch she has come across as someone who has more interest in telling a story than in telling the truth.

Clinton's lawyers also have little chance of prevailing on executive privilege. Clinton's stance merely shows that he is prepared to lose a drawn out battle in the courts since he apparently cannot tell the truth.

It makes me very happy that Starr has such integrity that he will not bend to unprecedented attacks by an out-of-control White House. It's reassuring that Starr is so calm and professional.

Btw, don't you find it amazing that Ginsburg now says that Monica stands by her affadavit of no sex after he spent weeks saying on numerous TV shows that Monica would admit to the opposite?
