K Kirk, I’ve been studying French 876 days on Duolingo. It’s fun although no way can I imagine attaining fluency with just the app, especially speaking/understanding spoken French. But I can read pretty well now and had no trouble with da spot’s post. If you’re interested give it a try. It’s amazing how progress accrues, even with a few minutes a day (10-15). Kind of like…compounding…hmmm…. Sad to say I’ve never made money on DUOL though! I should have listened to Peter Lynch (-:
