Carney's main achievements so far

Largely abandoning the fight against climate climate
Huge curs to foreign aid
Massive cuts to the civil service
Massive increases to military spending
Kowtowing to a wannabe dictator

If that is your idea of liberal values....

Maybe it is different in the US, but in Canada and the other advanced democracies these policies put him far to the right.

OT: I can't believe you are still claiming that South Korea is a good place for women in spite of all the evidence I have presented to you.

Here is some more evidence.

The most authoritative ranking is the GIWPS Women, Peace, and Security Index. The latest version ranks South Korea 37th, right between Moldiva and Bulgaria

giwps.georgetown.edu

Another recent survey by CEOWorld ranked South Korea 56th, right between Bhutan and the Philippines.

ceoworld.biz

The World Population review's 2025 ranking of gender equality by country ranked.South Korea at 83rd, right between Belize and Guatemala.

worldpopulationreview.com

In spite of some progress, South Korea remains by far the worst among the advanced democracies in its treatment of women. Your opinion is contrary to the evidence. I am going with the evidence.
