Well yes, there are liars and then there are liars, my point was that most honest people will admit to lying on occasion. Thus so far a majority seem willing to cut Clinton lots of slack with regard to his indescretion. I heard an attorney on one of the talk shows say in defense of Clinton lying about any involvement with Lewinsky something like...."Well, there a certain questions you would just expect a lie for an answer." I just hope somebody will post a laundry list of "acceptable" lies when testifying under oath. Waht is that line attorneys use? "How do you know when a client's lying? His lips are moving...." So they advise Billy Boy, Zip It!!!!!!.....

I have experienced a couple of times a person telling a lie so long he starts to believe it. It's almost like self hypnosis or a waking dream.

Just now it occurs to me that I have heard many comments lately about Clinton's amazing ability to "compartmentalize" various things going on in his life. Comments like "He is able to put the Monica thing in a box and continue to concentrate on his job."

I suppose everyone has this ability to an extent but it seems he is extraordinarily talented in this department. May help understanding this guy. Something I will think about.
