hey bruce---li'l abner was great but i think one of my earliest crushes was on daisy mae. you didn't even have to know how to read to appreciate what daisy had to offer. too bad the movie out many years ago wasn't any better. i think it was julie newmar who played daisy and a one shot wonder called paul palmer playing abner. of course, stubby kaye as, well i can't remember who stubby protrayed. one of my favorite charecters was joe bflyszk. not sure about the spelling but he was the guy who walked around with the permanent cloud over his head. i relate very well.
just finished entering AIM data for the week. very pleasurable task after a week such as this one. even with VLSI tanking today, the old portfolio was up nicely. and, i really appreciate the buying op for more shares the lemmings gave me on VLSI today. back in my early AIM days when margin was a large part of my portfolio, i sold off some VLSI very prematurely at $13.50. lessons learned the hard way are ofter times the best lessons learned.
off to dinner and with the weather promising to stay good it looks like we'll be off yard saleing in the a.m. keep hoping to unearth that long lost treasure. there's a show on pbs, comes on late saturday afternoon down here, eminating from atlanta, where people bring in "treasures" fro appraisal. the stories are fascinating and since miss. m. and i both are collectors we really enjoy seeing what people have come across and what it really turns out to be. years ago, i ran across a box of new 3cent stamps from the early fifties. different designs and i thought i had a real find on my hand. guess what they were worth. yup! 3 cents each. good luck

Hi Bruce,

In case you are interested, I've added a few new photos to the Jaguar pages. I'll be replacing the old low-res. photos soon, too.

Look about half-way down this posting.
With internet stocks screaming right now, RNWK looks like it will have some longevity, just not a great beta yet.
