Dwight, Do you think public opinion will ever turn against Clinton? If it does, do you think it will be soon? And if it doesn't, what does this say about changing moral standards in contemporary American society? Personally, I'm very surprised that Clinton has maintained such a high level of personal popularity. In my opinion, if this scandal had occurred during a recession, the American people might just now be calling for Clinton's head. (no pun intended) Surething

Cox was a strong partisan Dem. But there is nothing wrong with that, after all, so's most of the media. In fact, Republicans were made suspect when they pointed that out when eleven Kennedys showed up to honor Cox's swearing in as special prosecutor. The Kennedys must have shown up just to tell Cox to be fair with their old family friend Richard Nixon.
