Perhaps you didn't see the 60 Minutes interview? What part of the question didn't you understand? The fact is he did not have to lie....He could have simply said his sexual life is a private matter. But when confronted with what was politically expedient, he chose to LIE. You may feel that his sexual exploits are strictly his private business and we can certainly have reasonable differing opinions on this. But if you persist in this intellectually dishonest labored argument on the known facts (read: Clinton and Flowers had sex, Clinton denied this fact), then there really is no room for rational dialogue.....

Much is also made of the fact that he supposedly asked her to lie about their supposed affair. Well,gee, I guess that in his place I'd just have said""Gennifer, PLEASE, PLEASE give a press conference and tell the world about it!" How 'bout something like "Gennifer, if you are questioned directly about our relationship, I'd prefer that you refuse comment, but if that is no longer possible, then of course, I realize you will have to be truthful, irrespective of the consequences."

What would YOU do if someone asked you pointblank whether you'd slept with someone? Someone that you had in fact slept with? Whether it was advisable to keep it a secret or not? You asked... If I was under oath to tell the truth then I would tell the truth. Period. And I certainly wouldn't subjorn(sp?) perjury. Wasn't it you who said that President Clinton is a pathalogical liar? So, since he can't help himself it must not be his fault. Perhaps it's Hillary's fault? How about Socks? Dangit, he's got to have someone to blame or else it just ain't fair!
