Hi all -- I decided to check back in to see if lawsuits are being threatened, and lo and behold, they are! (None received here so far). BTW, I drifted by the Netcapital site the other day and it looks as if someone's trying to work on it. That should be fun to watch.

Good morning Ken. GAYLE ESSARY informed me via email that I was going to be named in a lawsuit against an another individual/individuals when I referred to his pen name "Trafalmadore" (sp) as a newsletter. Calling it a newsletter rather than a pen name seemed to uspset MR. ESSARY way above and beyond normality as if I were some kind of threat to him. I spent an entire weekend explaining to MR. ESSARY that it was an honest mistake on my part and just forget about it. When MR ESSARY realized it was a mistake the issue faded away and eventually "Trafalmore" emailings ceased. All this was shortly after Christmas 1997. As I recall there was a lot of dialogue on the threads about MR ESSARY taking legal action (libilous type or stuff)against other individuals. All this went on for about a week as I recall. Then things just suddenly died down. Harvey Kirby

Hi Ken, I have received no threats to date other than the one a long time ago from the guy on the tv who had misquoted me. How about posting the threats so we can all see them. For what it's worth, I did get some feedback from the gentleman kind enough to provide the software for maintaining the SAC shareholder email address info that indicated that he believes "from personal knowledge that both Gayle Essary and Gary Cella were duped like us". tom w
