All,

Just another data point. I was talking to a friend yesterday in my Naval Reserve unit and he is basically an asst CFO for a little company (10mil sales) with a footprint all over Southern California. He said they just switched to NEXTEL and they couldn't be happier. Service is great and total monthly cost dropped significantly. He is greatly impressed. I tried to interest him then in buying some of the stock.

Kevin

Rob: My client is analog, says it has some advantages some disadvantages. Obviously, Nextel is looking for any license that they can buy.

By the way It took him about 5 years to turn his system into a big profit, with substantial cash flow. The system is still that old fashioned analog system, however, it has been expanded to bypass the phone company through microwave transmissions which tie the counties together. I'd love to tell everyone the cash flow, but I can't. If Nextel can stop spending and start producing, I agree that future cash flow will make Bill Gates sit up and pay attention. BUT WHEN?

Regards

Al G., long for cash flow, short on dreaming.
