Auric,

I read your post and a story about IBUY at msnbc.com. If it's true that IBUY will come down in the near future, why is this a bad thing for the shorts? I understand that they are unable to sell due to Waldron's corner on the shares, but the shorts should eventually make huge profits.

By any standard there is something illegal going on when a company like IBUY has a stock price of $32.00/share.

If IBUY will crash like everyone is predicting, why are you and I not taking out a second mortgage on my home to short IBUY???

Mike

Auric;
Mr. Pink;
Anthony@Pacfic;
Tonight I went to the local mall to try and repay you all in some small way. There is a tree in the middle where the local Childrens Services posts cards which have the Christmas desires of less fortunate children on them. In each of your names, I selected a child's wish, purchased the gift and signed your name and Nevada to the card.
On Christmas morning some boys are going to be wondering what the hell an Auric Goldfinger, a Mr. Pink or an Anthony@Pacific is (and who the heck a Nevada is). (The names left on the tree were of older boys- guess nobody cares about them).
I did the above for IBUY (Auric) FP (Mr. Pink) and CYOE (Anthony@Pacific)(I realize you had help on cyoe, but I had a couple of other successful trades from your thread also).
I know I have omitted some people who have helped me without knowing it (TRIIboy, Christian13 and Debra Orlow come immediately to mind and apologize to those folks).
I had such a glorious time in your guys names- thank you and Merry Christmas.
Nevada

Auric;
In an earlier post I stated that I had only seen two real no-brainers in my life in the market- the Nikkei puts of 1989 and your ibuy of this year. Now I see two more- cyoe and tctv. I noted that others don't seem as confident (a@p exited cyoe position), yet I have reviewed everything and see no substance in either of these stocks. Do you know of anything that I might be missing or might be coming other than the type of hype we saw that drove ibuy higher?

PS- was surprised you didn't respond/react to my <a href="https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=6818072> </a>!!!

Auric, others, help? I have decided to move my account out of Fidelity. I am looking for a brokerage which 1) usually has the kind of stocks discussed here available for short, 2) has online trading, and 3) has descent tax summaries at the end of the year. Any help anyone could give would be appreciated.

Really Really off subject- but need help.
I have a group of MBA students who are working on a business plan for a store. The students were to plan the opening of a retail store and were free to open any type of business they wanted. One group has decided to open a sex toy store! They are having trouble finding average markups as they can't find any stores that are publicly traded. They have come to me with the problem and I bring it to you. Anybody out there know anything about the business or any publicly held companies in this business?
