Duncan, In answer to your question as to whether or not we would do the same for someone with whom we disagree and do not particularly like, the answer is, "yes." This has nothing to do with personalities. It is a case of a gag order being placed on one faction but not on the other. Although privately owned, SI is a public forum, and the SEC has so ruled. This is not the first instance of unilateral silencing and/or deletion of posts here at SI. For the record, this current fracas extends beyond CGB and Janice. There are other people involved. For further information and proposed remedies that would work well for everyone in the future, please see the new Warning thread in the Coffee Shop area here at SI. Now, please tell us, if you will, would you be saying that "she hanged herself" if it were someone else with whom you are friendly? As I recall, Marcos did state "As I understand it to date, on admittedly scanty evidence, the blubberer is either this one;" It also appears that he is not the only person here who suspected, however wrongly, that you were involved in having Janice removed. Perhaps there is something about you that would leave that impression..... Oh well, I am sure that Marcos will correct anything that he has said to you,.......that was inappropriate. :-))
