Actually, what you emphasized does nothing to further the notion that what the troopers said was false, and Brock in fact admits that twice in the article. Nothing you have said or cited refutes that central issue. Maybe he fears a libel suit if he did accuse them of making it all up? Just think of the things that might come out of that - I'll bet the Clintonista WH told him not to make that challenge, all those new subpoenas and witnesses.

He says he now questions their "credibility" - so what? The article makes clear that it is now Brock that has the credibility problems, along with his new patrons.
