I guess we're stuck, repeating our "truths" to each other without a basis for resolving the differences. Just because someone makes an allegation--even if it is repeated many times--doesn't make the allegation true. You are obviously a bright guy, and know this already. It is the way the discussions (if you can call them that) between Nixon supporters and his opposition went during Watergate before the smoking gun tapes were heard (Iran-Contra was a little different, since North was proud that he broke the law and lied originally to Congress).

Brock doesn't say that what they said was true or false--he implies that doesn't know, nor did he know back then.

The word incredible is not a synonym for false.
