Not at all! Thanks for your good explanation. My background is in physics (though not in Solid State, only had one semester of that 12 or 13 years ago), so I like to try to understand the relevant physics behind new technologies whenever possible.

I know Vitesse is the leader in GaAs semiconductors, but who supplies them with the raw material to make their chips?
