Patrick,

Lest I forget... a Happy St. Paddy's day to ya ! Always one of "me" favorite incidental calendar events. Chicago has traditionally always had one of the best St. Patrick's day parades in the country. Owing in large part to the long lineage of Irish Mayors... The Original Boss Himself... "Mr. Patronage" - Mayor Richard J. Daley (held office for 20 some odd years) and his legacy continues as his son currently holds the mayoral reigns. But....enough about the Celtics and the history of Chicago politics.

Sigmunds comment... followed by your comment....
<<Drive up the stock? If that's their intention they aren't doing a very good job of driving up the price.> is interesting.

"Me thinks" the way the game is played at this point.... is for the market mavens to acquire the stock cheaply without driving up the stockprice....just yet !! (Did I mention that me dear late paternal grandmother was from County Mayo, Ireland and came to the U.S. as a young lass with her TWELVE brothers and sisters?)

The Friday volume I believe was possibly an early indication of a little hedging-accumulation between two or more specialist. The Friday accumulation (without a substantial price increase) might be an initial entry by a new player....like an investment banking firm? Do we know of anyone who is in talks with one? (Did you know that Michael Flatley of "The Lord of the Dance" is from Chicago...and they told him when he started his dancing career at...age 10 or 11 that he was "too old" to amount to anything as a dancer?)

Now if I am right... and there is some accumulation or reshuffling of shares at these prices....then it might suggest that something is on the horizon for this coming week? Now wouldn't that make sense? They did it quite deftly but left a 300K ripple.( St. Patrick High School founded in 1861 is the oldest private (all boy) school in Chicago?

AccuMed management probably has one directive at this point....get the share price up past a $1 and keep it there. Friday is the day of reckoning with Nasdaq (drum-roll please). Isn't it ironic that Nasdaq's (delisting) announcement is the thing that sent the shareprice below a buck.... and now that is where the dang thing has to get above in order to appease them? Do any other cities in the country dump green food color dye into their rivers on St. Patricks day ?

I do believe that AccuMed will "don their best duds" and release their most favorable bits of succulent news this week. I only hope that the 300 K ripple turns into a "Sunami of buying" by some group (that may presently be privy to a little deeper financial perspective of things to come). (I'll bet Dana has had a glass or two of green beer in her life as she attended Boston University and Boston has a large Celtic tradition)

Monday and Tuesday may see some more covert buying and by Wednesday or Thursday the cat should be out of the bag (whether I am correct in my assumption??) and the volume and share price should pick up on suspicion alone. By Friday (heads or tails) ??? Then we have the expected favorable Detroit Lab Study (commencing over the weekend). That will showcase the cost savings that the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) Lab has obtained from using the core AccuMed equipment. Are you aware that Thursday is St. Joseph's day...and he is the patron saint of the Italians (my maternal heritage)

AccuMed it seems, certainly has their plate full this week.

Dana did I guess right?................................about the green beer???

I think I might have watched too much Pop-Up Music Videos lately !
