Yeah right, like AMD hasn't been trying to do exactly that for the past 3 years. But I would like to know how you would do that. Maybe the Hutch and Madwell can provide you with some proposals.

Albert, How significant do you think the announcement was that IBM would begin making K6 processors in late 1998? I'm beginning to wonder exactly what kind of an arrangement AMD and IBM have if any? The reason I ask is that I have watched the IBM and IBM Microelectronics sites for the past several weeks and there has been no mention of the news. I don't think there is mention of AMD or K6 anywhere on either of the sites.
