I would strongly advise you to be careful of what you say. You can say " I don't like the stock.", " I think the company is s**t.", "stock is going up...going down." or " I think the stock is way overvalued." but when you provide sensitive details of the company itself not merely as opinions but false facts, you'd get yourself into trouble.

Many times company legal team does check the message board to look for "misrepresented and/or false information. You need to watch out before you get unwanted trouble.

<< Someone told my friend that they have one guy who does all this programming and if he gets hit by a truck, kaboom.>>

DCLK had 185 employees at the end of 1997. I find it very hard to fathom that they only have 1 programmer.

<<Just a word of caution to all of you. If you check carefully, you'll find that although Alta Vista was 43% of overall sales for 1997, AV just started taking ads in late December of 1996. That means that it was "ramping up" during the year. By fourth quarter, it could well have been 65% of DC sales. So, if they exercise their 90 day out clause this July (they have one, you know), DC is effectively out of business. >>

Listening to a bunch of negative hear-say like this will get you out of a winning stock everytime. Why should Alta Vista get "out" of their relationship...they only pay DCLK for leads or visits generated....this is a no-cost proposition for a client of DCLK. In other words, you have nothing to lose by signing with Double Click..just attention/business to gain. As I understand it...Double Click only accepts 1 out of every 35 or so applications to their network. Media Maven, I don't think you understand their business...Tek
