Re: "The Stock Picking Game" -- I think it could be great fun to pick stocks which we can cheer, but I was wondering if anyone had reasons to offer for their picks this week, such as a certain TA indicator, a relatively stronger correlation to the price of crude, a favorite of certain fund managers, etc. That could add to the value of what is a fine information thread.

Just a thought.

Marc,

I have spent most of this day looking at the airlines to see if they would be a good short play for Monday. The airline sector is in a strong bull and the market, at least short term, doesn't give me a warm fuzzy for shorting such a strong sector. I thought it was a good idea while my brain was intoxicated by the welcome news of the oil output restrictions; however, now that I am back on planet earth and a little more familiar with the sector it scares the heck out of me. I have to agree with you and your caution - maybe I'll short them later but not on Monday.

Erwin

This "April window dressing" idea appears to be well touted by bulls. I see it everywhere on the news and in articles. Sounds alot like the much talked about Santa Claus rally that everyone was talking about in Nov and early Dec that never came about because it was already priced in. I'm looking for a pullback to start this week, but I'm probably nuts? :)

BTW- you short INTC, looks ready to break down from a head and shoulders pattern on the weekly chart?
