Rhet,

What time do you think we can expect an announcement from the Board of Directors?

Linda

There was a report a weeks ago which said that Apple's January retail sales put it third (?) in revenue in January at 7% market share. If that pace is maintained through the quarter, they're in for a big EPS surprise.

I think everyone here is too optimistic over that. Sales for other box makers slumped really big time in January. AAPL moved up in the rankings not because their sales ran ahead of expectations, but because their sales didn't drop as badly as everyone elses. Compaq and Micron got hammered in January. I think Dell did OK, and Gateway hasn't reported yet.

I think this quarter will beat the street, but I think Eric's range is too high, and people here are going even higher than that now.
