My opinion on this Ford announcement is for continued optimism for AFT. After speaking with Ford it is apparent that they are placing a lot of weight on CNG vehicles for the immediate future. I don't believe that they are in competition with AFT, as they market their vehicles mostly in first world countries. In all my travels to Mexico, Costa Rica,Thialand and Indonesia, I don't recall ever seeing many U.S. vehicles. A few in Mexico city only. If the AFT system is adaptable to the many forms of third world vehicles it may be poised to do very well.

We will have to see a large contract filled soon in order to maintain faith especially after that Vancouver Sun article.

I have no doubt that there is lots of trading going on in between the lines with these journalists who pump with the new and powerfull"baby ballard" phrase and then dump with Baines on the short side, in cahootes. They can do their trading through third parties leaving no connections to themselves."Perfect scam"

A couple of questions I have going through my head is: EPA approval. Does AFS have it or not. I think they have said that they meet or exceed several standards, but have they been through the arduous and timely process of EPA approval? The Turbodyne group are waiting any day for EPA news.

I gathered that the company corrected an FP error in the way the article was originally reported. Re: "contract" vs. "letter of intent". I thought that was a credible thing to do but maybe they had to or get further pooped on by somebody.

Hi Mark:

<Baines is well known in Vancouver circles for crapping on companies ... this comes as no surprise. >

I wasn't aware of this guy but my first impression was that he has his own motive and was on the 'short' side.

The fact that AFS has a proven superior technology, and have a major contract in hand and are now in a profitable state moves them into a much more credible light.

<In any event - I suggest that you do your own DD and do not weigh to heavily on Baine's words.>
Good advise Mark.

Regards,
Bonnie
