Siemens buys Newbridge and Newbridge turns around and buys Ascend. What do you think of this possibility? Beach, you're kidding right? Siemens buying NN is definitely possible. But, why would that combo want ASND? Quite a bit of product overlap in ATM. Also, getting awfully expensive at that point. Maybe you could elaborate, if you were serious????

beach -- NN and Siemens will definitely stick together, though I don't think Siemens would buy them unless as a defensive move. As for where ASND plays into the equation, I haven't a clue.
