Satyr or anyone,

this may be a real dumb question but I am a non-tech....

If I buy a computer with the following configuration:

Intel Pentium 333
WDC xx gig Drive
64m Ram
standard MS WIN bundle of software
etc etc

What would be the difference between a DELL, CPQ, GTW or brand X, if all the components are identical? Should their be a difference in performance? Would one be more reliable than another?

Thanks for any response. By the way, I posted this question first on the DELL thread and the only answer I received was BUY DELL. I am hoping for a more educated response.

Satyr...I too think we are stuck in this range for a while as evidenced by the targets reported in Barrons this weekend. This would also explain the de-coupling of DEC from CPQ price movement. Based on a DEC target of $55 1/8 any significant deviation from a CPQ price of $26 9/16 would trigger either buy or sell reactions.

Satyr,

IMO, the way I see it is I think we are creating a new base. I feel that our next up day will establish a new base at the previous days close. For example if tomorrow we are up, a base will be formed at today's price.

I hesitate to go on record with this one, because.....who really knows anyway!!!! heh.

Good luck to all.

Jeff
