bargain right now<<

No, I think there is asset inflation there as well. Lot's of folks are doing this, though. I think precious metals will shine again.
I won't buy Europe for a number of reasons -- political systems there tend to stifle rapid growth. Cash actually may be good here, but perish the thought -- 4.75% or so on a money market? There's got to be a better oppty, right? What if there isn't?

There a new SI thread, e-Commerce the Next 100 Months......

They have a model portfolio of 16 stocks that has done quite well since they created it a month ago. Up 18%.

Message 3904674
(a summary, with a link to their portfolio)

As we start the second month, it's already up almost 3% today. I like the sector. Wonder what you think of their picks?

Rental properties?
Here in Washington, DC suburbs property values have been near stagnant or declining since 1993 (just after I bought). Of course, I could still take out 120% equity and make even more in the stock market (BG). Cheaper to buy a house and make $900/mo payments than rent at $800/month. In Ca of course its different, there you pay 2x for the house you get here (or more) and renting is beyond reach of more people. Midwest has even picked up I believe, no longer cheaper than dirt (except maybe Oklahoma?).

Greg

So, Bonnie, you are actually buying some stocks? can we call that bullish and declare a top here and now?
