AOL POST ON PRWT:

Subject: Some Basic Info

This stock came out as Pure Water Sciences about 10 years ago. I think the issue price was .01 a share. Sorry, I can't remember the size of the float. They have a patten on a pure water device and an agreement with Regalware. The water device itself had all the other technology of its kind beat, but there were a number of problems.

The purification process involved boiling the water in the pure water device which could only purify about a gallon at a time with cycle time being about 10 minuets. The design of the Pure Water device sucked, but when you live in a third floor walk up given the option of carrying gallons of store bought water up the three flights it isn't a bad trade off. PWRT wants about $80 for the device and filters (which last 3 months) run about $25-$30 each.
About the same time BRITA hit the market with their little plastic bulls!#$ water purifier for $20, and they bought the media market. I personally feel that occurred because Regalware never gave the PWRT product much of a push. But the PWRT product must have developed some market because Regalware continues to support the product selling filters, new units and replacement parts. Besides, PWRT is still in business.

As I remember, the price of the stock peaked at about .10, then it drifted into obscurity. The Visual announcement which is posted elsewhere on this board occurred around Sept 1997.
My guess is Visual saw an opportunity to get a basic revenue stream and "go public" from PWRT, while PWRT found a viable technology with perhaps real value long term.
If your interested in the stock, look to Visual for information about that technology. That appears to be where they see the future.

Hope this helps. If I find any other info I'll pass it along, From the way this thing is moving, however, it could be worth a zillion dollars a share before I can find any additional info.
