Holly, your right, but this actually shows her story may be valid. If she had simply said the Governor groped or fondled her than she would have had a harassment case, since she did the honest thing and only divulged the dropping of his pants. It wasn't cause for sexual harassment or assault.

In the judges deposition, one of the troopers stated that the President was not going to even stay in the Hotel until he found out that Paula Jones was staying there. Then as soon as his plan backfired, he checked out immediately.

The case was not thrown out for lack of evidence or validity, but for the specific laws surrounding sexual harassment. She tried to claim "Work Force hostile environment" but the president never really worked in her office. She tried to claim assault, but no body contact was alleged.

That's why it was thrown out.
